The Barse Design Legacy
The Barse name derives from 19th Century American artist, George Randolph Barse. Barse became a student of art at the early age of twelve. His love for art quickly transported him to Paris where he studied under the masters at the Academie Julian and the Ecoles des Beaux Arts. As his inherent talent grew in depth and technique, George Barse became the recipient of outstanding honors and awards. In addition to being represented in museums and institutes throughout the nation, he was one of the few artists chosen to decorate the interior of the Library of Congress. George Barse was known as a master craftsman, delicate and sure in line and colour and skilled composition.
